Register for Step Perks

Registering for Step Perks gives you access to the employee benefits portal for Step Teachers.

You can register for the Step Perks website on the Friday after you complete at least one assignment for Step Teachers. This means if you worked Wednesday this week, you can register the portal from Friday next week.

To register, you will need to provide your National Insurance number.

  1. Go to: https://stepteachers.co.uk/perks/register
  2. Enter your NI number and Surname. Your national insurance number should be in capitals when entering. Your initials for your surname should also be in capitals. For example:
    AA123456A
    Bloggs
  3. If you have entered your details correctly, you will see the option to add your email address.
  4. Once you have entered your email address, you will be sent a one time passcode (OTP) to create a password
  5. Once you have set your password. You will have access to Step Perks. You can check this guide on how to find your payslip.


If you get the error "no employees found" then you have not entered your NI number and surname in the correct format, or you are accessing the site before your first pay has been produced.
