Recommend a Friend (RAF)

Refer a friend to Step Teachers and you will qualify for a £50 Amazon gift card once they complete 20 days work with us. You both will be entered into a prize draw to win a holiday worth £1000 too.

21st September 2026 Update

At Step Teachers, many of our best teachers and support staff join us through recommendations from people who already know and trust our service. If you've worked with a great educator, now is the perfect time to introduce them to us.

Our updated Recommend a Friend scheme is now simpler than ever, with the same rewards and qualifying criteria applying to both Teachers and Support Staff.

Whether you're recommending a colleague, former co-worker, friend, or family member, we'd love to hear from them.

Here's how it works:

Terms and Conditions

  1. Recommendations made between 1 August 2026 and 31 July 2027 will be eligible for entry into the prize draw, subject to all eligibility criteria being met.
  2. Any recommendations made to Step Teachers before 21 September 2026 will remain subject to the previous Recommend a Friend scheme and its associated terms and conditions.
  3. Once all qualifying conditions have been met, both the referrer and the recommended person will be entered into the prize draw for a holiday worth £1,000.
  4. For prize draw eligibility, the recommended person must complete their 20 qualifying days of work by 31 January 2028.
  5. The prize draw will take place during the February half-term period in 2028.
  6. Once eligible, Amazon vouchers must be claimed within 30 days of issue. We recommend adding teachers@stepteachers.co.uk to your safe senders list to help prevent emails from being filtered into your spam or junk folder.
  7. The recommendation must be submitted before the recommended person applies to, registers with, or is contacted by Step Teachers.
  8. Step Teachers reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice.

Entitlement Conditions

You will not qualify for a Recommend a Friend (RAF) reward or prize draw entry if:

  1. The person you recommend is not interviewed within 90 days of submitting their application.
  2. The person you recommend is a current worker, previously registered worker, or existing candidate of Step Teachers.
  3. The person you recommend works only a partial day. Partial days will be recorded as 0.5 days towards the qualifying 20-day requirement.
  4. The person you recommend does not complete their first day of work within 180 days of their interview date.
  5. The person you recommend withdraws from the recruitment process, or Step Teachers decides not to proceed with their application.
  6. The recommendation is submitted after the individual has already applied to, registered with, or been contacted by Step Teachers.
  7. Any information provided as part of the recommendation is found to be inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent.
  8. The qualifying criteria set out above are not met in full.
