How to print a bank statement in a branch
If you have been asked to provide an original bank statement to support your registration, please follow the steps below. This guidance also explains what information we require to authenticate your document.
What you need to do:
- Visit Your Bank Branch
- Go to your nearest branch where your account is held.
- Bring Valid Identification
- Take a form of identification (e.g. passport/driving licence) as the bank may need to verify your identity.
- Request a Printed Bank Statement
- Ask a member of branch staff to print your bank statement, or
- Use an in‑branch ATM that has the capability to print statements.
Before Leaving the Branch, Check Your Statement Includes:
-
Your full name and home address
-
A statement date within the last 3 months
-
Confirmation that the statement was printed in branch, demonstrated by:
- A stamp from a Personal Banker, and/or
- An ATM stamp or message confirming it was printed in branch

If your bank is not listed, please visit the bank’s official website.
If you use an online-only bank (for example, Monzo), you may need to request a posted bank statement instead.
